Eastern pennsylvania youth soccer risk management application

Thank you for your willingness to serve as a coach, co-coach, or assistant coach for our Harleysville FC players!

The State of Pennsylvania has recently revised the background check requirements for volunteers who work with children. These requirements apply to adults volunteering with children for activities such as sports teams, Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts, classroom volunteering, class trips, etc. As a result, ALL HFC Volunteer Coaches are required to submit current PA Clearances, in order to volunteer.

What clearances do I need to submit?

All HFC Coaches are required to submit the three clearances mandated by the state of PA (Child Abuse, Criminal, and FBI Clearances). These clearances are valid for a period of 60 months (5 years) and can be taken with you to any volunteer position you may serve.

3. FBI Clearance Requirements:

Complete the Risk Management Form Online: Click on the Eastern PA Youth Soccer Risk Management link in the Coaches Requirements section of Got Sport.

Complete the Online Trainings (Found in the Coaches Requirements Section of your profile in Got Sport). You will click on the training and be guided to LAUNCH COURSE and follow the instructions provided as you complete the course. These courses are required to be completed YEARLY.

What should I do with my clearances?

Where should I submit my current coaches clearances?

Your current clearances should be uploaded to your coaching profile in GotSport: https://system.gotsport.com/

Do I need to complete the video trainings again if I completed them for the previous season?

No. The Heads Up & Safe Sport Video trainings are valid for ONE CALENDAR YEAR. If you completed them for the summer season, they will still be valid for the Fall. The Risk Management Form is also valid for one year. (The PA Clearances are valid for FIVE years from the date of Report).
